Football Recap: Camden Military Comes Up Short

Camden Military came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They were dealt a 56-6 defeat at the hands of the Pinewood Prep Panthers. The Spartans were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 42-0.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Pinewood Prep to victory, but perhaps none more so than Silas Brawner, who threw for 264 yards and five TDs on only ten passes. Jayden Alexander also helped with three touchdowns in total.

Camden Military now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Pinewood Prep, their victory bumped their record up to 3-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Camden Military will welcome Wilson Hall at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The match will give the Spartans their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Pinewood Prep, they will host Laurence Manning Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
