Volleyball Game Preview: Mt. Baker Mountaineers vs. Mount Vernon Bulldogs + How To Watch

Mt. Baker is 0-3 against Mount Vernon since February of 2021 but things could change on Wednesday. The Mountaineers will head out on the road to take on the Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. Mt. Baker will be strutting in after a victory while Mount Vernon will be coming in after a loss.

Mt. Baker will bounce into Wednesday's matchup after beating Lakewood, who they had gone 0-7 against in their seven prior meetings. The Mountaineers came out on top against the Cougars by a score of 3-1 on Monday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Mountaineers.

Meanwhile, Mount Vernon came up short against Bellingham on Monday and fell 3-1. The Bulldogs haven't had much luck with the Bayhawks recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Mt. Baker's win was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-9-2 and their overall record up to 2-9-2. As for Mount Vernon, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-9.

Mt. Baker suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Mount Vernon when the teams last played back in October of 2024. Can the Mountaineers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
