Malik Holman Drops League-Best Effort on Friday
Starting off the list is South Lake's Malik Holman, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Holman made nine total tackles. He was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 52 yards.
The victory was the third in a row for South Lake, bringing their record for this year to 5-3. It'll be Battle of the Birds when Eagles takes on Lake Minneola at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

On Friday, Horizon got the W thanks in part to Trace Kulczar playing the best football he has all season. The game was his sixth straight with five or more total tackles.

Davenport was led to victory by Carl Jean-Bart, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Jean-Bart picked up 225 receiving yards and a touchdown. He's now once again averaging 100+ receiving yards (104.6) per game.
Davenport's win ended a four-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-4. Jean-Bart and Davenport are taking a road trip to take on Horizon at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
