Marist had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They never let the Henley Hornets get on the board and left with a 4-0 win on Tuesday. The result was nothing new for Marist, who have now won 15 matches by three goals or more so far this season.

They hit Henley with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Libby Mclaughlin (2), Tori Sherman, and Kiara Philyaw.

The victory (which was Marist's 12th in a row) raised their record to 16-1-1. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 81 goals over those 12 matchups. As for Henley, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 14-1-2.

Coming up, Marist will square off against The Dalles at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Dalles' defense has only allowed 0.2 goals per game this season, so Marist's offense will have their work cut out for them. Henley does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
