Volleyball Recap: Boone Grove Makes It 17 in a Row at Home

Boone Grove came tearing into Wednesday's game with six straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Tri-Township Tigers 3-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 on April 7th.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Boone Grove was: they took every set by at least 11 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-8, 25-13, 25-14.

Boone Grove's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Max Pollnow, who had 21 assists and five aces. Those 21 assists gave Pollnow a new career-high. Ryder McCoy was another key player, getting 17 digs.

Boone Grove's victory was their 17th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 16-3. As for Tri-Township, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-8.
