Basketball Recap: Crescent City Has No Trouble Against Middleburg

Crescent City lost to Middleburg on January 10th, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. The Crescent City Raiders enjoyed a cozy 50-34 win over the Middleburg Broncos. That 16 point margin sets a new team best for the Raiders this season.

Crescent City's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-11. As for Middleburg, their loss was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 8-13.

Crescent City will challenge Tocoi Creek at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Middleburg, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, an 81-43 defeat against Union County on the 27th.
