Baseball Recap: Cumberland County Takes a Loss

Cumberland County lost against Monterey back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Jets lost 13-2 to the Wildcats. The Jets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Cumberland County saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Titus Ostrander, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

Cumberland County's loss dropped their record down to 8-12. As for Monterey, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-11 record this season.

Cumberland County will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Warren County at 6:00 p.m. Monterey does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
