Football Recap: Fenton Takes a Loss

Fenton was the 21-14 winner over Riverside-Brookfield when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Bison lost to the Bulldogs on the road by a 47-28 margin on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Bison can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois football rankings (they are ranked 352nd, while the Bulldogs are ranked 156th).

Fenton now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Riverside-Brookfield, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Fenton has already played their next contest, a 49-0 loss against Glenbard East on the 3rd. As for Riverside-Brookfield, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 21-17 win against Glenbard South on the 3rd.
