Volleyball Recap: Fredericktown Freddies vs. Centerburg Trojans        
        
		
             After a string of three wins, Fredericktown's good fortune finally ran out  on Tuesday. They lost  3-0 to the Centerburg Trojans. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Freddies of the  3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture  back in October of 2023.
 Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-21,  25-14.
 Centerburg was led to victory by  Josie Dawes and  Molly Kain.  Dawes  had six  digs and 24  assists, while  Kain  had 17  digs. Dawes is  on a roll when it comes to  assists, as she's  now  posted 13 or more in the last nine games she's  played dating back to last season.
 Fredericktown's loss dropped their record down to 10-4. As for Centerburg, they have  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won six of their last seven contests,  which provided a nice bump to their 11-2 record  this season.
 Fredericktown will square off against Danville at 6:30  p.m.  on Thursday. Fredericktown will be looking to keep their three-game home win streak  alive. As for Centerburg, they are taking a road trip to  challenge East Knox  at 6:30  p.m.  on Thursday.
