Sun Valley Magnet proved they can win big on Tuesday (they won by 33) and on Wednesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Alliance Marine-Innovation & Technology Griffins 48-45. The win was nothing new for the Pioneers as they're now sitting on five straight.

Sun Valley Magnet pushed their record up to 12-9 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.6 points over those games. As for Alliance Marine-Innovation & Technology, their defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 8-1 and their overall record down to 12-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sun Valley Magnet will welcome Discovery at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Alliance Marine-Innovation & Technology, they will take on Valor Academy at 2:15 p.m. on Friday.
