Westerville Central won the last time they faced Central Crossing and things went their way on Friday too. The Westerville Central Warhawks had just enough and edged the Central Crossing Comets out 37-34. The 37-point effort marked the Warhawks' lowest-scoring contest of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Westerville Central pushed their record up to 9-12 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. As for Central Crossing, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-15.

Coming up, Westerville Central will challenge New Albany at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Central Crossing, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Worthington Kilbourne at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
