Jace Waggoner Drops League-Best Performance on Friday

Olson Made His Presence Known in Cascade's 36-14 Victory
Winning always takes teamwork, but on Friday Cole Olson stepped things up a notch to give Cascade the 'W'. Olson was unstoppable, rushing for 195 yards and three touchdowns on only 11 carries. He didn't just play on offense: he also picked up two sacks and made eight total tackles.
Cascade's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 4-1. Olson and Cascade will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Garden Valley at 7:00 p.m. on October 25th.

Garden Valley had to settle for second on Friday, but Trevor Corn sure wasn't going down easily. Corn was dynamite, rushing for 140 yards and a touchdown while picking up 8.2 yards per carry.

Council Wins Fourth-Straight Thanks to Owen Hatfield
Council picked up their fourth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Owen Hatfield. Hatfield was dynamite, rushing for 183 yards while picking up 8.3 yards per carry, and also throwing for 138 yards and a touchdown on only 11 passes.
Council pushed their record up to 5-1 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Hatfield and Council will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Salmon River at 7:00 p.m. on October 25th.

Stuart Derrick Makes It Two for Cascade
The second Cascade player making an appearance here is Stuart Derrick, and for good reason. He rushed for 138 yards and two touchdowns on only 12 carries. His longest rush was for an impressive 57 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.
This season, Derrick has thrown 6 touchdowns while averaging 94 passing yards per game.
