Flag Football Recap: Wauconda Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Wauconda can now relate to. They received a blow on Tuesday as they fell 21-6 to the Cary-Grove Trojans. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Trojans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 30-6 back in August.

Zithlaly Duran threw for 147 yards and one touchdown. Natalie Bahena was her top target, picking up 40 receiving yards.

Wauconda has been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-10 record this season. As for Cary-Grove, they moved to 10-4 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

As of now, neither Wauconda nor the Trojans have any future games scheduled.
