Lewiston falls despite strong effort from Caleb Rule

Recap: Lewiston Tigers vs. Johnson-Brock Eagles

The Lewiston Tigers suffered their biggest defeat yet this season on Tuesday. They were beaten by Johnson-Brock 78-23. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Lewiston has scored all season.

Despite the loss, Lewiston still got an impressive performance from Caleb Rule, who scored ten points along with five rebounds and two blocks. That's the first time this season that Rule posted two or more blocks.

Leading Johnson-Brock to victory were Camden Dalinghaus and Brody Koehler. Dalinghaus scored 18 points along with four steals and two blocks, while Koehler scored 19 points along with five assists and five steals. Koehler is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last ten games he's played. Another player making a difference was Casen Dalinghaus, who scored eight points along with four steals.

This is the second loss in a row for Lewiston and nudges their season record down to 5-8. As for Johnson-Brock, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 13-0.

Lewiston will head out on the road to take on Lourdes Central Catholic at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Lourdes Central Catholic is out to stop a three-game streak of losses at home. Johnson-Brock will take on Exeter-Milligan/Friend at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Exeter-Milligan/Friend will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Nebraska Rankings (they are ranked 110th, while Johnson-Brock is ranked 22nd).
