Softball Recap: Loudonville Comes Up Short

Loudonville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Cardington-Lincoln Pirates, falling 10-0. The game marked the first time this year in which the Redbirds were not able to get on the board.

Alesha Felix spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and eight unearned) runs on ten hits.

On the hitting side, Loudonville saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Adalynn Goudy, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Loudonville's record is now 3-6. As for Cardington-Lincoln, the win got them back to even at 3-3.

Coming up, Loudonville will be playing at home against Wooster at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Cardington-Lincoln, they will head out to take on East Knox at 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
