Basketball Recap: North Bay Haven Academy Find Success + How To Watch

North Bay Haven Academy won the last time they faced Arnold and Kaylee Goodpaster did her part to make sure it happened again. The Buccaneers secured a 40-34 W over the Marlins on Saturday with plenty of help from Goodpaster, who dropped a double-double with 24 points and 11 boards. She has become a key player for North Bay Haven Academy: the team is 3-1 when she posts at least ten rebounds, but 0-3 otherwise.

Ally Brady was another key player, dropping a double-double with ten points and 18 boards. She has been hot for a while, having also posted two or more steals the last ten times she's played.

Arianna Williams and Emma Crelling certainly did their best on Saturday to avoid the loss. Williams posted 13 points, while Crelling had six points in addition to 11 rebounds and six steals. With that strong performance, Crelling is now averaging an impressive 2.5 steals per game. Sophia Mansilla also deserves some recognition as she posted her first block of the season.

North Bay Haven Academy's record is now 3-4. As for Arnold, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 4-4.

North Bay Haven Academy and Rutherford will compete for holiday cheer at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Buccaneers will be up against the Rams' rather soft defense (which has allowed 66.17 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. Arnold will take on Freeport in a holiday battle at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
