Raton entered their tilt with Clayton on Saturday with five consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with six. They put the hurt on the Yellowjackets with a sharp 19-0 win. The Tigers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten games by 15 runs or more this season.

The team relied heavily on Brooklyn Marquez, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. That home run marked the first that she has launched this season. Another player making a difference was Elaina Gigante, who got on base in all three of her plate appearances with three runs, three RBI, and one double.

Raton was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .600. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .333 or higher in six consecutive matches.

Raton pushed their record up to 12-9 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.1 runs on average over those games.
