Volleyball Recap: Forest Hills Eastern Comes Up Short

It was a good run, but Forest Hills Eastern unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-match winning streak on Thursday. They fell just short of the Catholic Central Cougars by a score of 2-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cougars this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

Forest Hills Eastern started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 18-25, 25-15, 25-18.

Cara Wolf was the offensive standout of the contest as she had 13 digs and four assists. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last six games she's played.

Forest Hills Eastern's loss dropped their record down to 11-19-1. As for Catholic Central, their win bumped their record up to 32-12-1.

Coming up, Forest Hills Eastern will head out on the road to square off against Coopersville at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Catholic Central, they will take on Ludington on Thursday.
