Phillips was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 63-38 to the Hubbertville Lions. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bears this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 53-39 back in November of 2024.

Perhaps the best among them was Addison Tucker, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 11 rebounds. Phillips' loss dropped their record down to 4-14. As for Hubbertville, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 13-8.
