Basketball Recap: Liberty Baptist Academy Takes a Loss

After flying high against Word of Life Christian Academy last Monday, Liberty Baptist Academy came back down to earth. The Liberty Baptist Academy Knights came up short against the Indiana Christian Academy Whirlwinds on Wednesday, falling 56-32. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Knights have suffered since February 2, 2024.

Leading Indiana Christian Academy to victory were Sawyer Tipton and Seth Plew. Tipton posted 13 points, while Plew had 13 points. Another player making a difference was Jake Gilbert, who put up eight points.

Liberty Baptist Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 13-5. As for Indiana Christian Academy, the win (which was their 20th in a row) raised their record to 22-1.

Liberty Baptist Academy has already played their next game, a 58-50 loss against First Baptist on the 5th. As for Indiana Christian Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 48-47 victory against Newport Christian on the 5th.
