Pymatuning Valley won the last time they faced St. John and Mckenna Jordan did her part to make sure it happened again. The Lakers took down the Fighting Herald 62-48 on Monday thanks in part to Jordan, who dropped a double-double with 21 points and 14 rebounds. She continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played.

Eralyn Lockwood also deserves some recognition as she posted her first block of the season. She also grabbed four steals, which is notable because Pymatuning Valley is 2-1 when she posts at least three steals, but 1-2 otherwise.

Several Fighting Herald players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Marissa Arrieta-Williams, who posted eight points in addition to seven boards and three steals. Alexa Jordan was another key player, putting up 13 points and three steals.

The victory made it two in a row for Pymatuning Valley and bumps their season record up to 3-3. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.5 points over those games. As for St. John, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Pymatuning Valley wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 53-38 defeat against Grand Valley on the 11th. As for St. John, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 51-34 victory against Mathews on the 11th.
