Lyford had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the IDEA Weslaco Pike Mavericks. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 25-16, 25-11.

Lyford's victory bumped their record up to 22-12. As for IDEA Weslaco Pike, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7.
