Baseball Game Preview: Wright Red Devils vs. Hurley Northstars

Wright is 2-7 against Hurley since April of 2022 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Red Devils will face off against the Northstars at 4:30 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Wright fell victim to Northland Pines and their airtight pitching crew two weeks ago. They came up short against the Eagles, falling 15-0.

Wright saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Blake Peterson, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base.

Meanwhile, Hurley lost 11-5 to Wabeno/Laona on Saturday.

Hurley's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Wright, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 0-3.

Wright might still be hurting after the 12-2 defeat they got from Hurley in their previous matchup back in May of 2025. Can the Red Devils avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
