Football Recap: Lake Worth Comes Up Short

Lake Worth was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss dating back to last season. They were outmatched by the Atlantic Eagles and fell 49-6. The Trojans were not able to make up for their defeat to the Eagles from their previous meeting back in March of 2023.

Lake Worth's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Atlantic, they pushed their record up to 7-5 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home.

Lake Worth wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 19-0 defeat against St. John Paul II Academy on the 3rd. As for Atlantic, they will challenge Santaluces at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
