The Denver South Ravens had to kick off their season on the road on Thursday, but they showed no ill effects. They took their game on the road with ease, bagging a 54-26 win over Evergreen. That's another feather in the cap for Denver South, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Leading Denver South to victory were Matt Rhoades-Martinez and Dominic Rhoades-Martinez. Rhoades-Martinez scored 9 points along with 5 rebounds and 5 steals, while Rhoades-Martinez scored 13 points along with 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Quinn Kelsey was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.
Denver South's victory bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Evergreen, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.
Denver South will face off against Durango at TBD on Thursday. As for Evergreen, they will head out on the road to face off against Thomas Jefferson at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
