Softball Game Preview: Salamanca Warriors vs. Olean Huskies

Salamanca is 0-10 against Olean since May of 2016 but things could change on Wednesday. The Warriors will host the Huskies at 5:00 p.m. Olean took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Salamanca, who comes in off a win.

Having struggled with five defeats in a row, Salamanca turned things around against Dunkirk on Tuesday. They blew past the Marauders 13-1. The game marked the Warriors' most dominant win of the season.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 15 runs the game before, Olean was a bit more limited in their contest on Tuesday. They lost 7-1 to Allegany-Limestone.

Olean's loss dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Salamanca, their victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 3-5.
