Soccer Recap: South Mountain Comes Up Short

South Mountain lost to McClintock back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Jaguars fell just short of the Chargers by a score of 2-1. That's two games in a row now that South Mountain have lost by just one goal.

South Mountain's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for McClintock, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. South Mountain will head out to challenge Desert Ridge at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. South Mountain is facing Desert Ridge at the right time seeing as Desert Ridge is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for McClintock, they are taking a road trip to square off against Chandler at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
