Soccer Recap: Northern Durham Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Northern Durham was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the Excelsior Classical Academy Flying Lions. While losing is never fun, Northern Durham can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 320th, while Excelsior Classical Academy are ranked 63rd).

Northern Durham's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Excelsior Classical Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 5-0.

Looking ahead, Northern Durham will venture away from home to challenge Person at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Excelsior Classical Academy, they have already played their next game, a 3-0 win against Eno River Academy on the 4th.
