Softball Recap: Ridgewood Rebels vs. Glenbard South Raiders
Tuesday just wasn't the day for Ridgewood's offense. They lost 7-0 to the Glenbard South Raiders on Tuesday. Having soared to a lofty 15 runs in the game before, the Rebels' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.
Megan Moe spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered seven runs (all of which were unearned) on five hits and racked up six Ks.
At the plate, Ridgewood saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lucianna Cardamone, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base. Ellen Carlson also deserves some recognition as she got her first hit of the season.
