Baseball Recap: Kaplan Takes a Loss

Kaplan was the 2-1 winner over Welsh when they last played one another back in March of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Pirates fell 6-1 to the Greyhounds on Saturday. The Pirates have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Kaplan's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Welsh, their victory ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-5.

Coming up, Kaplan will square off against Iota at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Welsh, they will challenge Washington-Marion at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
