Football Recap: Long Beach Comes Up Short on the Road Against Pass Christian + How To Watch

Long Beach kicked off their season on the road on Friday and hit a couple of potholes. They were beaten by the Pass Christian Pirates 49-20. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it nine in a row.

A big part of Pass Christian's victory came down to the chemistry between Paris Trivillion and his top target Dwight Thomas. Trivillion threw for 250 yards and four touchdowns while Thomas picked up 129 receiving yards and three TDs. That's the most passing touchdowns Trivillion has posted since back in September of 2024. Cecil Lizana was in the mix too, providing Pass Christian with two scores.

Long Beach wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 21-12 loss against Forrest County Agricultural on the 5th. As for Pass Christian, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 47-14 win against Purvis on the 5th.
