Guy Longenberger tossed a big game, striking out seven batters over 4.1 innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off four hits (and not a single walk). That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in April of 2024.
At the plate, Southern Columbia Area got a massive performance out of Brayden Andrews, who scored two runs while going 3-for-3. Kole Myers was another key player, going 1-for-3 with three RBI, one triple, and one run.

Southern Columbia Area is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season. The team dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 11.3 runs. As for Bloomsburg, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-5.
Bloomsburg's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Southern Columbia Area hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .361. It's a different story for Bloomsburg, though, as they've only averaged .205. Will they be able to contain Southern Columbia Area's hitters?
