Softball Recap: Anthony Wayne Comes Up Short in High-Profile Contest with Perrysburg

Anthony Wayne faced Perrysburg in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Wednesday. The Generals fell just short of the Yellow Jackets by a score of 4-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Generals have suffered since April 21st.

This is the second loss in a row for Anthony Wayne and nudges their season record down to 17-4. As for Perrysburg, the win (which was their 15th in a row) raised their record to 16-1.
