Baseball Recap: Make It Six in a Row for Wells

Wells had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8 runs) and they went ahead and made it six on Saturday. They were the clear victor by an 18-4 margin over the Laughlin Cougars. The result was nothing new for the Leopards, who have now won six matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Wells got a big performance out of Adam Eggleston, who scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances. Dentin Allen also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

Wells always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .750. The last time their OBP was this high was back in April of 2024.

As for Laughlin, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 19-9 defeat against Tonopah on the 8th.
