Bishop Moore had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They snuck past the Oviedo Lions with a 45-40 victory on Friday.
Bjorn Jurgensen had an outrageously good game as he threw for 350 yards and three touchdowns while completing 73.1% of his passes, and also rushed for 82 yards and two touchdowns on only six carries. A healthy portion of that aerial production (150 yards to be exact) went to Kenyon Alston, who also brought in three receiving touchdowns.
Bishop Moore's defensive line stepped up as well, laying out the QB three times. In that department, Tegan Mcnealy was the leader with two sacks.
