Polk County is a perfect 10-0 against Mountain Heritage since September of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Wolverines will venture away from home to challenge the Cougars at 6:00 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Polk County and six for Mountain Heritage.

Polk County's tournament run continued when they took on Kings Mountain on Saturday. The Wolverines took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mountaineers.

The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-18.

Meanwhile, Mountain Heritage didn't have quite enough to beat Madison on Thursday and fell 3-2. While the Cougars didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Patriots 25-11 in the first set.

Mountain Heritage started the match hot and won the first two sets, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 11-25, 19-25, 25-21, 25-21, 15-13.

Polk County's loss dropped their record down to 10-8. As for Mountain Heritage, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-10.

Everything went Polk County's way against Mountain Heritage in their previous meeting on September 4th, as Polk County made off with a 3-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Wolverines since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
