Basketball Preview: Foundation Christian Academy Panthers vs. Geneva Classical Academy Knights
The Foundation Christian Academy Panthers will head out on the road to square off against the Geneva Classical Academy Knights at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
Last Monday, Foundation Christian Academy was just a bucket shy of victory and fell 39-38 to the Scorpions.
Meanwhile, Geneva Classical Academy earned a 41-28 win over the Lions on Thursday. The team accrued 29 points in the first half and coasted on those for the victory.
It was another big night for Giselle Katzmann, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 11 steals. Katzmann is crushing the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Sophie Dalen, who scored nine points along with five assists and three steals.
Foundation Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 6-10. As for Geneva Classical Academy, they pushed their record up to 9-4 with that victory, which was their third straight at home.
