Volleyball Recap: Le Lycee Starts Season with Victory on the Road

Le Lycee had to kick off their season on the road on Monday, but they showed no ill effects. They came out on top against the Yeshiva University of Los Angeles (YULA) Panthers by a score of 3-1. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Lions also won the last time the pair played back in March of 2024.

Le Lycee had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 19-25, 25-23, 26-24, 26-24.

Yeshiva University of Los Angeles (YULA) dropped their record down to 1-1 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Le Lycee will head out to square off against AGBU at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Yeshiva University of Los Angeles (YULA), they will take on Oakwood at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
