The King's Christian Knights will head out to take on the Veritas Christian Academy Lions at 3:45 p.m. on Friday. King's Christian is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.9 goals per game this season.

King's Christian is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to six goals on Friday, they were much more limited against The Pilgrim Academy on Tuesday. They fell 3-1 to the Pioneers. King's Christian's loss signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.

Their goal came courtesy of Cole Carver, who's now up to 21 this season.

Meanwhile, for the first time this season, Veritas Christian Academy was forced to settle for a draw. They and Abundant Life Academy finished up on equal footing with a 5-5 draw on Tuesday.

King's Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 10-4-1. Veritas Christian Academy's draw gives them a new season record of 2-6-1.

Everything went King's Christian's way against Veritas Christian Academy when the teams last played back in September of 2017, as King's Christian made off with a 3-0 win. Will the Knights repeat their success, or do the Lions have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
