Fremd has gone 8-2 against Palatine recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Vikings will take on the Pirates at 6:00 p.m. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Fremd comes in on seven and Palatine on three.

On Tuesday, Fremd sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over Stevenson.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Fremd got the one that really mattered. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 13-25, 25-16.

Meanwhile, Palatine hadn't done well against Barrington recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Pirates came out on top in a nail-biter against the Fillies/Broncos, sneaking past 2-1.

Fremd's victory bumped their record up to 29-7. As for Palatine, their win bumped their record up to an identical 29-7.

Fremd beat Palatine 2-0 in their previous meeting back in October of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Vikings since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
