Basketball Recap: Lincoln County Snaps Three-Game Streak of Wins at Home

Lincoln County lost against Warren County back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Lincoln County Red Devils fell 61-54 to the Warren County Screaming Devils.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Warren County to victory, but perhaps none more so than Darius Hill, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 15 boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Cosa Pender, who posted 18 points along with eight rebounds and four steals.

Lincoln County's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-8. As for Warren County, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 15-7 record this season.

Lincoln County wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 72-63 loss against Towns County on the 1st. As for Warren County, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 63-45 win against Lake Oconee Academy on the 3rd.
