Marvin Ridge had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.5 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They enjoyed a cozy 70-51 victory over the Porter Ridge Pirates. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 58-43 on January 7th.

Porter Ridge's loss came despite strong showings from Ashanti Taylor and Kali Williams. Taylor dropped a triple-double on 17 points, 11 boards, and 11 steals, while Williams went 7 of 16 on her way to 24 points and five rebounds. The contest was Taylor's 21st in a row with at least ten points. Camille White also deserves some recognition as she grabbed her first steal of the season.

Marvin Ridge's win bumped their record up to 14-5. As for Porter Ridge, their defeat ended a six-game streak of away wins and brought them to 15-4.
