Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Culbertson walked away with it. They simply couldn't be stopped on Thursday as they easily beat the Lambert/Richey R&L Fusion 69-31. The Cowboys have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven games by 25 points or more this season.
Bridger Salvevold was a one-man wrecking crew for Culbertson as he went 9-for-17 en route to 19 points and five boards. Salvevold's afternoon made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Gavin Deen, who went 5-for-10 to rack up 13 points.
Culbertson has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.6 points over those games. Lambert/Richey is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-11.
