Football Game Preview: Lynbrook Owls vs. Island Trees Bulldogs

The Lynbrook Owls will square off against the Island Trees Bulldogs on Saturday. One thing working in Lynbrook's favor is that they have posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season.

For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Lynbrook and Plainedge meet (three straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Saturday. The Owls fell 45-35 to the Red Devils. The Owls haven't had much luck with the Red Devils recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

Meanwhile, Island Trees fell victim to Locust Valley and their airtight defense on Saturday. They were outmatched by the Falcons and fell 28-0. The game marked the first time this year in which the Bulldogs were not able to get on the board.

Having lost for the first time this season, Lynbrook fell to 3-1. As for Island Trees, they now have a losing record of 2-3.
