Basketball Recap: Albany Comes Up Short

Albany was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 50-30 to the Abilene Christian Panthers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Lions of the 39-16 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in November of 2024.

Albany's record is now 1-5. As for Abilene Christian, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Albany will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Eastland at 6:15 p.m. on December 2. As for Abilene Christian, they will venture away from home to square off against Strawn at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
