Baseball Recap: United Christian Academy Takes a Loss

United Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 18-8 to the Bosco Tech Tigers. If the Eagles were looking for revenge after losing 10-0 to the Tigers when the teams met back in February of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Jaden Lopez and Jackson Rutledge did some serious damage despite the final result: Lopez scored two runs while going 1-for-2, while Rutledge scored two runs while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances.

United Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Bosco Tech, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-3.

United Christian Academy has already played their next match, a 14-0 victory against Sherman Indian on the 4th. As for Bosco Tech, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 20-0 win against St. Genevieve on the 4th.
