Baseball Recap: North Forrest Victorious

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only North Forrest walked away with it. They skirted past the Bogue Chitto Bobcats 7-5. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Eagles have posted since February 18th.

Chancellor Rogers spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered five earned runs on seven hits and racked up six Ks.

At the plate, Logan Hall was incredible, going 3-for-4 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one run. That's the most RBI he has posted since April 1st.

North Forrest has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-8 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.0 runs over those games. As for Bogue Chitto, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-11.

As of now, neither North Forrest nor the Bobcats have any future games scheduled.
