Volleyball Recap: St. Paul Comes Up Short

St. Paul lost against Baxter Springs back in September of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Indians fell 2-0 to the Lions.

The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-9.

Kyndahl Venneman paced St. Paul's offense, picking up seven kills. Venneman got some help from Ava Dent and her seven assists.

St. Paul's loss dropped their record down to 6-16. As for Baxter Springs, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-8 record this season.

Coincidentally, St. Paul and Baxter Springs will both be playing St. Mary's-Colgan the next time they take the court. The Indians will host the Panthers at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, while the Lions will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
