Volleyball Recap: Vanguard Academy Takes a Loss

Vanguard Academy saw some tournament action on Friday. They fell 2-0 to the Park City Miners. The Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The final score came out to 25-19, 25-9.

Brayson Taylor paced Vanguard Academy's offense, picking up six kills. Taylor got some help from Ben Kingston and his nine assists. Kingston was also solid from the service line: he led the team with two aces.

Vanguard Academy now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Park City, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Coincidentally, Vanguard Academy and Park City will both be playing Carbon the next time they take the court. Vanguard Academy will head out to face Carbon at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, while Park City will play them later in the day, at 9:00 p.m.
