Basketball Game Preview: Friends Quakers vs. Severn School Admirals

Friends is 2-8 against Severn School since January of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Friends Quakers will head out to take on the Severn School Admirals at 5:30 p.m.

Friends is headed into Friday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their seventh straight game on Wednesday. They were dealt a 54-26 defeat at the hands of Archbishop Curley.

Meanwhile, Severn School was able to grind out a solid win over Gerstell Academy on Wednesday, taking the game 49-39. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Admirals.

Friends' loss dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Severn School, they pushed their record up to 10-5 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Friends took a serious blow against Severn School in their previous meeting back in January of 2024, falling 69-40. Can Friends avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
